Create the music of tomorrow

Through our high-end online platform, founded in 2018 by the non-profit Swiss Beyond Foundation with support from Tina Turner, we connect the dots of talent world-wide and bring together professional musicians, composers, singers and songwriters of all cultures and musical styles. We inspire them through the ability of exploring completely novel groupings of collaboration. Artists are given instant access to colleagues in some of the most far-fetched locations, using some of the most exotic musical instruments. The level of creativity and innovation puts audiences in awe. Beyond Music nominates among the most unusual music formations and provides annual prize awards of up to 80,000 US dollars. Moreover, the best pieces of music are being released on Beyond Music albums, under the guidance of some of the world´s most famous producers.

Create Impact Through Music

For our new album project Vol.4 'Songs for Social Change', we gathered a team of three award-winning stars: 5-time Grammy Award winner Angélique Kidjo, Afrobeats hitmaker Pheelz and Ghanaian pop sensation Wiyaala. The guest artists have now selected three winning songs from the submissions and will collaborate with the artist teams in studios to produce powerful music that aims to reshape our world. All costs are covered, and the winning artists will perform alongside the stars in a music video. The songs will be submitted for the new Grammy category "Best Song for Social Change". 20 further submissions have been awarded a total of 85,000 US dollars. These songs, along with the Top 3, will be released on the Beyond Music album Vol.4, which will be promoted worldwide. Thank you to everyone who participated. We can't wait to share your incredible music with the world. Stay tuned for the release of Vol.4!

3rd Single Vol.4 "Chica de Favela"

Five-time Grammy Award winner and global music icon Angélique Kidjo returns with the release of her new single Chica de Favela, taken from the globally inspired album Beyond Music Vol. 4: Social Change. Available on all major streaming platforms from October 17, the song features Ugandan singer Pesa Bazz, Mexican artist Siddhartha El Primero, and composer-producer Shocktraderz.

The new single Chica de Favela from Angélique Kidjo, tells the story of a strong, independent woman from a shantytown in Brazil, who defies societal expectations and confidently navigates her world. A song of female empowerment, Chica de Favela celebrates the ability of women everywhere to shape their own destinies without dependence on others.

A powerful song recorded at the legendary Ogidi Studios in Lagos. Blending Afrobeat rhythms with soulful voices from across continents, “Stay Together” is a moving call for unity and peace in divided times. Nigerian Afrobeats chart topper Pheelz adds his unique sound, joined by Marshall Muze, Naimah, and Ella Rose. Together, they deliver a message of hope, resilience, and connection. More than a song, it’s a global statement: peace must be protected — together. Part of a visionary project uniting artists worldwide, this track embodies the spirit of music as a force for social change.

With soulful vocals, driving beats, lush harmonies, and cross-cultural fusions, the album invites listeners to dance, reflect, and connect. More than a compilation, it’s a global call for awareness and transformation – continuing our vision of music as a force for peace and unity.

“Get Wise” - The prelude to the album Beyond Music Vol.4 - Social Change

Courageous, powerful, feminine: With “Get Wise”, Wiyaala and Ah Moon deliver an energetic anthem for self-determination and inner strength - carried by powerful beats and a message that goes far beyond music.

The song celebrates the many facets of female identity - raw, wild, wise. It encourages you to break free from societal expectations, find your own voice and shape your life with pride and determination. The track was produced by the exceptional Swiss hit maker Dodo (host of “Sing meinen Song”, Switzerland) and the video was shot in Zurich. A song that gets under your skin.
